🏈 FIS NFL Week 10 Storylines & Game Previews

NFL Week 10 brings record chases, Berlin’s first game, and top matchups — Patriots vs. Bucs, Rams vs. 49ers, and Rodgers vs. Herbert headline the slate.

The 2025 NFL season hits the midway mark with surprises across the standings — six of eight division leaders didn’t win their division last year.

Heading into Week 10, Denver (7-2), Indianapolis (7-2), and New England (7-2) share the league’s best record, while seven other teams are sitting strong at six wins.

Here’s what to watch this weekend, from record chases to high-stakes matchups.

Falcons vs. Colts – Sunday, 9:30 a.m. ET (NFL Network)

Location: Olympic Stadium, Berlin

The NFL heads to Germany for the first-ever regular-season game in Berlin as the Falcons (3-5) face the Colts (7-2).

Both teams bring elite running backs into the matchup:

  • Jonathan Taylor (IND) ranks 2nd in the NFL with 1,113 scrimmage yards.
  • Bijan Robinson (ATL) ranks 3rd with 1,058 scrimmage yards.

It’s the first game since 2002 (Marshall Faulk vs. LaDainian Tomlinson) to feature two opposing players with 1,000+ scrimmage yards entering Week 10.

The Colts made headlines this week by trading for All-Pro cornerback Sauce Gardner, adding a lockdown presence to their defense just in time for Berlin.

🏴‍☠️ Patriots vs. Buccaneers – Sunday, 1:00 p.m. ET (CBS)

Matchup of AFC & NFC Leaders

The Patriots (7-2) and Buccaneers (6-2) represent the top of their conferences — marking the first time since 2023 (Ravens vs. 49ers) that the best teams in each conference meet in the regular season.

Drake Maye (NE) continues to make history: he’s the first QB under 24 and only the fourth ever to throw for 200+ yards and a 100+ passer rating in eight straight games. Another strong outing could move him closer to Aaron Rodgers’ 12-game record.

On the defensive side, Antoine Winfield Jr. remains one of Tampa Bay’s playmakers. Since entering the league in 2020, he’s one of only two players (along with T.J. Watt) with 10 fumble recoveries.

Patriots wide receiver Demario Douglas is playing with heart this week, dedicating the game to his late uncle — and hoping to turn that emotion into a big win for New England.

🐃 Bills vs. Dolphins – Sunday, 1:00 p.m. ET (CBS)

Josh Allen owns Miami — he’s 13-2 in his career against the Dolphins, with 45 total touchdowns and a 110.3 passer rating.

Last week, Allen broke Cam Newton’s record for the most rushing touchdowns by a QB (79 including playoffs). He’s now the only quarterback ever to rush for 6+ touchdowns in eight straight seasons.

Meanwhile, Buffalo head coach Sean McDermott is chasing his 100th career win, which would place him among legends like John Madden and Joe Gibbs in reaching 100 within nine seasons.

🌵 Cardinals vs. Seahawks – Sunday, 4:05 p.m. ET (CBS)

Seattle continues its surge behind breakout star Jaxon Smith-Njigba, who leads the league with 948 receiving yards and six 100-yard games. He’s also on pace to become the first receiver ever with eight catches and 100+ yards in five straight games.

Arizona tight end Trey McBride is quietly making history of his own, becoming only the third TE ever (with Tony Gonzalez and Travis Kelce) to post five receptions in 10 straight games.

On defense, Calais Campbell joined an elite club — he’s now one of just four players since 1982 with 5+ sacks in 15+ seasons.

🐏 Rams vs. 49ers – Sunday, 4:25 p.m. ET (FOX)

A rematch from Week 5’s overtime thriller, when San Francisco edged the Rams 26–23.
This time, it’s Christian McCaffrey vs. Matthew Stafford, both chasing personal milestones.

  • McCaffrey leads the NFL with 1,222 scrimmage yards, including a record-breaking 16th career game with both a rushing and receiving TD, passing Marshall Faulk.
  • Stafford leads the league with 21 passing TDs and sits at 398 career touchdown passes, just two away from joining the 400 club.
  • Davante Adams (111 career TD catches) can move past Tony Gonzalez for 8th-most in NFL history and is now in his sixth straight season with 8+ TD receptions.

This NFC West matchup could reshape the division — both teams sit near the top, and Seattle (6-2) isn’t far behind.

Steelers vs. Chargers – Sunday Night, 8:20 p.m. ET (NBC)

A primetime duel between two elite quarterbacks: Aaron Rodgers vs. Justin Herbert.

  • Rodgers, now in Pittsburgh, is tied with Peyton Manning for third-most multi-TD games (165). With two more, he’d trail only Tom Brady (204) and Drew Brees (173).
  • Herbert has 2,390 passing yards and 18 touchdowns, ranking second in the league in both categories. Last week, he logged his 50th career multi-TD game, joining an elite five-man club to do so within their first six seasons.

The Chargers are undefeated in primetime (3-0) this year, while the Steelers are making their third night appearance in four weeks.

🦅 Eagles vs. Packers – Monday Night, 8:15 p.m. ET (ESPN/ABC)

This one’s got playoff energy written all over it.
The Eagles (6-2) face the Packers (5-2-1) in a rematch of last year’s Wild Card game.

Jalen Hurts is on a tear — back-to-back 140+ passer rating games with seven touchdown passes in two weeks. Only Aaron Rodgers (2011) and Kurt Warner (1999) have ever had three straight games with 3+ TDs and a 140+ rating.

For Green Bay, Josh Jacobs has 71 career rushing TDs, and with a score in each of the next two games, he’ll join an elite list of backs (Tomlinson, Peterson, Henry) to find the end zone in 50 of their first 100 games.

🧠 Bonus Watchlist

  • Lamar Jackson can record his 73rd career win and join Rodgers and Mahomes as one of the most efficient QBs through 100 starts.
  • Myles Garrett needs two sacks to become the first player ever with 12+ sacks in six straight seasons.
