FIS NFL Week 11: The Matchups, The Momentum, and the Madness

NFL Week 11 Patriots’ hot streak, Rams-Seahawks fireworks, and Dolphins-Commanders go global in Madrid. Football meets drama this week.

We’ve officially hit the back half of the 2025 NFL season, and let’s just say… the vibes are getting spicy. Rivalries are heating up, playoff races are starting to take shape, and the drama — both on and off the field — is giving reality-TV energy.

Here’s what you need to know going into Week 11, game by game, story by story.

🏟️ Thursday Night Spotlight: Jets (2-7) at Patriots (8-2)

Okay, let’s be honest — all eyes are on New England right now, and not just because of their record. After Cardi B’s surprise appearance at Gillette last week (yes, you read that right — she’s apparently a Patriots fan now?), the buzz around Foxborough feels different.

The Pats are riding a seven-game winning streak, and rookie running back TreVeyon Henderson made headlines with two long touchdown runs (55 and 69 yards!) last game. Add rookie WR Kyle Williams’ 72-yard TD and this team is giving serious “new dynasty loading” energy.

On the other sideline, the Jets finally showed signs of life — special teams, of all things, came to the rescue with a 99-yard kickoff return and a 74-yard punt return TD.

The vibe: Patriots are that team you didn’t want to admit might be good again — and the Jets are the little sibling trying to ruin your comeback.
FIS Projection: Patriots by two scores, 28-14. Cue the confetti cannons and maybe another Cardi B cameo?

Touchdown Madrid: Dolphins vs. Commanders (Sunday, 9:30 AM ET, NFL Network)

The NFL is going international again — this time heading to Madrid’s Bernabéu Stadium for the league’s first-ever game in Spain.

The Dolphins (3-7) are bringing the flash: Miami’s offense has been electric, led by De’Von Achane, who put up over 225 scrimmage yards last week. He’s the kind of player who can turn a screen pass into a sprint-show in seconds.

The Commanders (3-7), meanwhile, have linebacker Bobby Wagner sitting on 99 tackles — because what’s a trip to Europe without a defensive monster leading the way?

The vibe: Sunshine, sangria, and scoring. Expect fireworks early — Miami’s speed might just melt the Madrid turf.
FIS Projection: Dolphins take it, 31-20, with Achane dancing into the end zone like it’s a Bad Bunny concert.

Chargers (7-3) at Jaguars (5-4)

Two words: Khalil Mack. The man has been everywhere lately — racking up sacks like it’s a shopping spree. The Chargers are on a three-game win streak and have quietly turned into one of the AFC’s most balanced teams.

Justin Herbert, sitting at over 2,600 passing yards, could become just the fourth quarterback ever to throw 20 touchdowns in each of his first six seasons. Yeah, he’s that dude.

The Jags, though, aren’t rolling over — they’ve been scrappy, especially at home.

The vibe: Florida humidity meets L.A. swagger.
FIS Projection: Chargers edge it out late, 27-24, on a Herbert drive that’ll have you saying, “He’s him.”

🌊 Seahawks (7-2) at Rams (7-2)

The NFC West is pure chaos right now — and this matchup might decide who’s really top dog.

The Rams’ Matthew Stafford is on fire25 TDs and just two picks, plus three straight games with at least four touchdown passes. He’s making it look too easy. And if he hits 40 TDs this year, he joins Tom Brady and Aaron Rodgers as the only QBs ever to do it three times.

On the other side, Seattle’s Jaxon Smith-Njigba is putting up numbers that make you double-check the stat sheet — 1,041 receiving yards in just nine games. He’s on pace to join Calvin Johnson and Cooper Kupp in the 1,900-yard club.

The vibe: Hollywood lights, heavy hits, and highlight reels.
FIS Projection: Rams in a thriller, 35-33. Expect this one to get wild.

🐴 Chiefs (5-4) at Broncos (8-2)

This one’s got history — and altitude. The Broncos have quietly built a seven-game win streak and the NFL’s nastiest pass rush (46 sacks and counting).

But Patrick Mahomes loves a challenge — he’s about to hit 35,000 career passing yards faster than anyone in history. Denver’s rookie QB Bo Nix, though, has been steady and unbothered — 18 straight games with a TD pass.

The vibe: Experience vs. momentum. Mahomes vs. Mile High.
FIS Projection: Chiefs squeak it out, 30-28, but this could be the best game of the week.

🦁 Lions (6-3) at Eagles (7-2) — Sunday Night Showdown

Now this is a matchup. Both teams are NFC heavyweights, both have something to prove.

Detroit’s Jared Goff just joined some elite company with his 44th career 300-yard game (tying Marino and Brees), and RB Jahmyr Gibbs already has 41 career TDs at just 23 — that’s “future Hall of Famer” pace.

But Philly’s Jalen Hurts is rewriting the script: the first player ever to open a season with 15+ passing TDs, 5+ rushing TDs, and 1 or fewer picks in the first nine games.

The vibe: Two powerhouses, one primetime spotlight.
FIS Projection: Eagles hold home field, 34-31, but the Lions make them sweat every second.

💋 FIS Final Take

Week 11 feels like the turning point — the week contenders separate from pretenders. Between international vibes, stat-breaking streaks, and sideline celeb cameos, there’s plenty to watch even beyond the scoreboard.

So grab your snacks, your wine, and your group chat — because this week, football’s not just about who wins. It’s about who owns the moment.
