Tough news for the Bucs tonight. Wide receiver Mike Evans, one of the best to ever do it, suffered a broken collarbone and is expected to miss most of the season, coach Todd Bowles confirmed. Evans left the game against the Lions on a cart, and the stadium fell silent.
A six-time Pro Bowler and Super Bowl champion, Evans has been a cornerstone of Tampa Bay’s offense for over a decade. His presence on the field, his chemistry with the quarterbacks, and his knack for making highlight-reel catches will be sorely missed.
Prayers up for @MikeEvans 🙏🏼 Here’s to a strong recovery — the league isn’t the same without him. 🖤🔥
